Offline Outdoor Chair — Teak & White
Some chairs ask for attention. This one waits for you.
The Offline Outdoor Chair is built from tapered planks of solid FSC®-certified teak, set into a powder-coated aluminium frame in soft white. Two materials that have no business getting along, meeting along a beveled edge so clean the whole chair reads as a single gesture. The pale frame does something quiet and deliberate: it steps back, and lets the warmth of the wood carry the piece.
That restraint is why it sits well here. Japanese design has always favoured the honest expression of material over ornament, and this chair is exactly that — visible grain, exposed structure, a low horizontal line that settles naturally against an engawa, a stone terrace, or a quiet garden corner. The white frame keeps it light in a small courtyard, where a darker chair would sit heavy.
Teak earns its place outdoors. Its own oils hold off rain, sun and salt air without any treatment, and over a season or two the surface shifts from honey to a soft silver-grey. That patina is not wear — it is the material telling you how long it has been standing there, the kind of ageing wabi-sabi teaches us to welcome rather than sand away. Leave it to weather, or oil it once a year to keep the warmer tone. Both are right.
Practical where it counts. It arrives fully assembled, stacks away for winter, levels itself on adjustable foot glides, and carries a BIFMA commercial rating — so a set of six will still look composed a decade from now.

Care
Wipe with a slightly damp soft cloth and dry thoroughly. On the frame, use a quality metal furniture cleaner. The teak needs nothing — unless you want to keep it golden, in which case a light teak oil once a season is enough.
